Our Story

Meet Chef Lee

Tri-State Food Safety is owned and operated by Chef Lee Cureton. Chef Lee has held ServSafe certification since 2002 and became Instructor/Proctor Certified in 2013.

Growing up in her family's hospitality oriented businesses including a motel, restaurant, & custom art shop, Lee quickly grew to love the hospitality industry.   She graduated from Mercer University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Social Work.

By 2002 she was ready to pursue her dream of owning her own catering company.  She returned to school.  Lee attended the Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, S.C. where she earned a degree in Culinary Arts and quickly put her plan in action to open her own catering business, Culinary Creations Catering.
